Duran Duran are to receive a lifetime achievement awards at the Brits tonight.

What a joke, presumably the award is for being crap for 25 years.

Oh come on, the early years were alright. The first album is great and actually sounded more advanced than Movement (which is still better though), released the same year. They had a crap period in the late 80s, but did a good comeback in the 90s, and still sounded better than any Britpop shit. They're geniuses if compared to those Oasis retards.

Just sat through the Brit Awards,i cant belive the kind of shite that won: Busted,Dido,Timberlake etc.

Anyone decent was overlooked: Radiohead,White Stripes etc.

And just in case anyone`s interested Duran Duran made a right arse of themselves,terrible live performance.

I think Rio is an excellent album.

Unfortunately, they've only done about a half dozen good tracks since then.

'One of Those Days' from the new album is a pretty good one though.
