The only Hemingway book I read all the way through was "The Sun Also Rises", and I don't remember anything like that in there ![]()
YES, that's the one. It's in there..I think Jake may be talking to his friend while in Spain. His friend started talking about it because he was making fun of Jake's war injury that has caused him impotence. He felt awkward about it, so he tried to change the subject to something not so personal. :)

I'll take your word for it, I read it about three years ago. I liked it, but haven't read it since ![]()
I got about six pages into "A farewell to Arms" but that's the extent of my Hemingway experience. I'm more of a Fitzgerald man myself (as far as the Twenties Paris-expatriates go)
Wot? No pics of the famed Bat-boy????? Looking at that rag certainly helps pass the time whilst waiting in the express checkout lines behind OSU grads who can't count to 15............
