Fav gig of year, certainly Winter. Brian Wilson performing Smile in london village, great show of affection for the fella too from an eclectic audience, genius seems to be a word thats bandied about a bit too much these days, but in the context of Fridays gig its lost none of its currency with regards to Brian Wilson, wish I'd blagged another ticket to see the performance again. Anyway have a nice Sunday fellow NOOls I'm off for a run

Ain't been to a gig yet this year, however I am looking forward to ;
Krafrtwerk at Rainchester and London - March, and; System 7 - West Indian Centre, Leeds March 27th
Got to be said that MUse in the Ulster Hall will rank highly on the list of best gigs of the year. Mindblowing.

are you mad?
I smoked my last bifter in October, I've gone from three packs of Marlboro Lights a day to about three miles a day.
Mrs garymac reckons I've done okay so far especialy in terms of not snappin at evryone , most difficult part up to now is after a meal. But I aint a born again type, I loved smokin , the whole shebang, but after livin in Turkey for 12 months and payin 30 pence a pack, there is no way I personaly will pay UK prices again. So joggin is me new addiction

My physio's just had me running for three minutes and me legs have come up like BALLOONS!
Lots of fluid still under the skin apparently. Ugh.
I should take up smoking instead.
I feel for you Al, broke tib and fib of me left leg coupla years ago, had it pinned etc and I remember the pain of physio far more than when I actualy snapped the leg. The physio kept sayin it was for me own good but I thought she was sadistic bitch. Six months later I took her some flowers and a thank you note, I also apologised for swearin at her so much, she said it was cool, she enjoyed her work. Sadistic bitch Avoid the bifters and ask for pure oxygen
Postscript: The tablets they gave me for 'fluid ' were diuretics, believe me a night out on the lash is filled with the logistics of how to make it to the next set of piss stones through a crowded bar .. and then you go into a strange bar .... panic ? better believe it

Indeed, worst bit currently is have 'massage' of the scar tissue itself. Should imagine this is what it felt like had I been conscious when the actual knife went in. Painful is not the word. No, actually it is. Then the physio makes a nice little 'tidal wave' of all the fluid under me skin and delights in showing me!! Ugh.

Cool, glad you had a good time. Were there many people there?
I'm going to go see Ferry Corsten on Thursday night...
first gig of the year...
and then the following Thursday I'll be seeing Ian Van Dahl, motorcycle and LIV...didn't know she had a band!!!
reckon if I'd have asked, she could have arranged free tickets?!?!?!
I'm seeing Xiu Xiu play this Friday night. Should be a good show. Too bad they won't be playing Ceremony.... ![]()
Just added the Crystal Method to my gig list...didn't even know they were going to be in Dallas...16 March...
then BRMC on 20 April...
This is only in the rumors stage at present, but perhaps The Pixies, The Cure, and Love and Rockets are touring together this year. If said show occurred and I was in attendance, these jeans would be creamed.
The Fall/John Cooper Clarke, tomorrow and Monday.
Just tried to get tickets to see Morrissey in Manchester in May (went on sale this morning) and it's already sold out. Bugger.

Thought I'd heard that MES had broken his leg, and that the rest of the UK tour was cancelled.
FUCKING FUCK FUCK THE FUCKING FUCKER.
Yes, just checked the Fall website and he has indeed fractured his pelvis. This weekend is turning into a right fucking disaster.
At least Forest won yesterday.

Sorry bout that, I can feel your pain across the pond:( There was some good news, at least for some of us Yanks, looks like the US tour in April will go on as scheduled, doesn't do much for you I know, but it'll be interesting to see 'em over here again.

No, cheers for mentioning it - I hadn't been on the Fall website for a week or so, so it saved me going out in the snow to a cancelled gig! Anyway, no point in shooting the messenger - it's not like you pushed him over. Or did you?!
