Ah, Guy Debord. Nothing like the society of spectacle. Plus, putting sandpaper on the cover of books is classic. As for the Three Colors trilogy, I think I like Blue best, although the others were quite enjoyable too. I finished watching all 10 HOURS of Kieslowski's 'Decalogue' about a month ago, and it was very good as well--probably better, but no Binoche in sight.

Of course, I had a great Simpsons one for quite awhile, and I haven't bothered to look up some more of those. I did have the site for the Calvin And Hobbes avatars handy, so I went to that one and picked this out. I dearly love C&H, so much that I hardly even bother reading the comic pages since its last publication date.
I'll probably still change from this bubble boy, though, this weekend.

What's wrong with "The Outsiders"? It's one of my favorite movies, and I liked the book at a teenager.
Oh yeah. My avatar's from my favorite anime series, Gravitation. The three characters on it are from one of the bands on the show, although none of them are the protagonist. The series wasn't released in the US (like most things I like, apparently), although the DVDs can be found in Japan.
At the moment I'm varying between grey on grey background and white on white background, sort of a sub-Rothko thing. However out of those of you who have made the effort , I do have some favourites. el Che Hooky, first one I saw back in november 03 the penguin slap the hyper fat kid the will fuck for an hairbrush rob smith one and the agent wood one. Since Mrs garymac has not shown me how to make one yet I'll stick to the minimalist thing for a bit. P.S. Did'nt like the little box with a red cross in it a few of you used, a bit too much like posting amongst some sorta freemason thing
Mine comes from a Japanese porn site. Il love Japanese porn. It fits rather well with NewOrder's music.

Actually waited till I could get this on a white response, and not a grey one, cos the avatar looks sh1te on grey - need to find one with a transparent background. Or rather sort one out when I get home (we can't ftp to our own sites here from work).

thank god i have that new line to put under the avatar. some people didn´t get it. some said it was the real Che, and others even said it was me! 
for the ones that don´t know: it´s a mix between the classic image of el Che Guevara and one from Hooky. for the ones thinking about politic messages across, i didn´t think of it that way. i do respect the Che and i like moderate leftists ideas (as you might have notice by now ;) ). but it was more like an "icon", something that represents my country. and the Hooky pic fitted very well there :D
