Yeah they are from San Diego; maybe they think people will take them more seriously if they sing with an accent.

So people here can lose respect for them, Sebastien told me they are up for a collaboration with Robert Smith :D

They already did one; if you want to hear it, then go buy the new Blink 182 CD ;)
It makes me lose respect for Smittee. I already had negative respect for that godawful 182 band.
Blink are what passes for "punk" these days amongst the youngsters. God save America if either Bush or Kerry adopt one of their songs for a campaign theme (and if I could remember the name of a single Blink song, that would be even funnier :( )

Are you sure they weren't miming on TOTP?

well, no... blink's new album is an attempt to cash in on the current 'emo' scene, which is quite a wonderful scene...
i must say, blink182 are a terrible band, but their new album (blink-182) is a gargantuan improvement, especially songs like all of this (feat. Robert Smith), and i miss you (i can actually sense sincerity in this song)...

BOLLOCKS!! Go back to Austin.
I dont have any respect for any "band" as wank as Blank 1-8-Poo. They`re shit & have NO right being mentioned on here.![]()
Blink 182 are indeed shite (it all comes back to that downfall-of-music-was-bands-with-numbers discussion).
BUT. At least it's given us an excuse to use the word "Mockney", which is a great word. Respect due to whoever thought that up.
I will now try to get the words "Pram-face" into the thread: Atomic Kitten = bunch of pram-faces.
i'm ashamed to admit it but i actually like I Miss You by Blink 182. I'll continue to make fun of the little kids with their Blink patches and MALL BOUGHT T SHIRTS but that song has grown on me.

junk more like it
the robert smith song is pretty good, lyrics are ok (which robert wrote) and musically it has a nice acoustic feel to it. trash blink 182 all you want, but at least they are realizing songs about picking your nose can only take you so far, and i guess this album is a way of branching out and maturing.

Gosh, you're right. I'm gonna run out and trade all my New Order albums in for Blink 182!

Yes, but only because no one's bought any of their albums after 2000.
