Representing Juliette

I shall be representing the one and only Juliette Binoche at Kraftwerk tonight.

Also two old New Order buddies will be there, they are REN and JASE.

was watching the extras on the dvd of blue - her interview was great "id rather play a dinosaur than one of speilbergs humans", and her general commentary was really top notch. not just a prety face - a really clever "bird"

right she is too.

the first time i saw blue i was going through a bit of a fucked up euro film obsessive phase. headed in to the open day at the ifc (now ifi ) where i watched 12 hours of european and independant films. fucking great - jean renoir, j.p.melville (my favourite), amolodovar,etc.... and right in the middle, kieslowski's blue. in 12 hours of film, it stood out!

with the occasional exception hollywood should indeed, as mr lydon said, burn!

For not only a good film with her, but also naked (and younger), I'd recommend Philip Kaufman's "The Unbearable Lightness of Being." It has a real cop-out ending, but the rest of the movie is quite good.
