Shameless Plug For London Gig : April 3rd

Venue : Kentish Town Bull & Gate Date : Saturday April 3rd.

My band, Fractured (get the JD/NO connection?), are headlining the B&G with support from fellow veteran post-punkers Disco Students (single 'Gay Lorry Drivers' out now!) and Probing Cranks.

We're best described as punk-pop with a definite satirical edge. If you like the Buzzcocks, The Fall etc you'll definitely like us! There *might* be real pop-star special guests (see website for clues)too. Whoo!

I realize I don't know any NOOLers in person (yet), but if you pitch up and make yourself known I'd love to buy you a pint and have a chat. It's only a fiver on the door.

For any Brighton NOOLers, we're playing the Pressure Point on the Monday after so come to that one!

Nah - not really. I'm not up there yet - I've just joined, on keyboards. I play guitar in another band with the drummer from Fractured and I've known 'em all for 20-odd years. Old Factory heads the lot of us.

"Fractured appear on Sat 3rd April. Buzzcocks, Fall, Jilted John, punk pop fuzz. Everyones a bastard in their book so they should have a lot of friends coming along! Probing Cranks are main support, Capt Beefheart oddball twang fronted by Paul Merton look-alike Capt Blyth. Their latest CD Rubber Swording seems to be selling well and such offerings as Dweezil, Tuxtla and Uncle Ray display their cheeky punk rock leanings which keep pace along side a darker metallic edge. No,just dont stick it on Digital Republic or youll get the whole world on your back (theyre funny about off topic subjects on there). You plug away mate. :)

Not at all, gig plugging is mighty fine, as it is real and is live. The more the merrier, live musicians need all the support they can get, lord knows how hard it is competing in a live town like London.

Radio show plugging is a bit different, any turd can stick some records on, and posting a message on here telling the whole world that an obscure station in California played Temptation last week, and its soooo coooool is just shite.
