Glastonbury Tickets

Well, its now 16 hours since the tickets went on sale. Not sold out yet, as far as i am aware.

Michael Eavis really dropped the ball on this one. He knew the demand for tickets, and yet he had a meagre 180 phone lines? And surely it was inevitable that the site would crash with the demand?

I gave up at 4am, sick of pressing re dial and refresh. I expected them to have sold out by the time i woke up, but they werent and i tried again and got them!

However, i am not amused about the whole fiasco, i think a guy who wrote to NME.com got it right when he said "last year the touts, now this crap."

Anyone else get tickets?

The line-up looks a bit shaky this year (only rumours i know). Paul McCartney? No Thanks.

Muse? Moz? Oasis? Doves? and a load of other great bands that havent been annoucned yet? I'll take my chances

Did you get your tickets Chris? the whole thing was beyond a joke, the simple way to eliminate the touting problem is to have electronic tickets, like on airplanes, where you have to show passport/driving license/citizencard to get in.

And for Mike and Conor: I think you were going for tickets, did you get any?

Morrissey? Hes just done a track about Munich 1958. Something controversial cos hes past his best?,Oasis... who really thinks they`re a headline act nowdays? Muse,ok they have some good tunes so fair enough.

Anyone know the full line-up yet,who is headline act on Friday? Oasis saturday,McCartney sunday.

Dont they usually have an oldie closing the festival? Thats why they've been trying to get Prince the last few years, and have thankfully failed. James Brown is allegedly playing, but he has problems with the law.

I quite like Muse,but a headline act? and you said they pick an older act for closing night,McCartney is old!
