Gotta disagree, Bill was stretching his dramatic muscles in LIT, thus the non-frantic performance that we know and love. But you're entitled to your opinion.......for now

stretching muscles? huh. don't get me wrong. i like L.I.T., but i think that bill got too much hype. now in ghostbusters, bill humor kinda gets overlooked by the great one-liners getting tossed around, and the strenght of the rest of the cast. fuck man, even the head librarian schmuck, and the electricity-nerd are good in the movie.

As soon as I posted that I thought "'stretching his muscles'? Shit, I need to lay off the Ebert and Roeper!", but basically I thought he was excellent in it. It's kind of like in Rushmore, where he puts aside the little one-liners and simply focuses on the character.

Oh, and I love Ghostbusters, fond memories of that (though Ghostbusters 2 was a bit much, with all that radioactive goo underneath New York City. Looked like Smucker's Strawberry Jam)

yeah... murray has his share of one liners, but the delivery in ghostbusters is top notch. he has yet to top the humor there.
