Freddy Adu, do you mean ? Potential to be the new Pele and Maradona rolled into one. Unbelievable skill, pace and balance for someone so young, he's gonna be really special.

Whatever happened to Samba Cherno?

Cherno Samba ? Millwall Reserves. Turned out to be a better prospect in Championship Manager than in real life ! Seems to have taken a nosedive compared to his England U-15 teammates like Stephen Schumacher, who is playing regular first-team football (albeit on loan at Carlisle !)

Cherno Samba's website is at

Did watch that match Saturday, there was some good stuff going on, but one guy for DC missed a point blank shot from about 6 yards as the goalie was totally out of the shot the other way, and he still hit the post. Unbelievable.

As for Adu, they didn't put him in until the 70th minute with his team leading 2-1. Only had about 10 touches in his time, and Freddy was kinda looking for a foul after an ordinary tackle, but the refs weren't gonna give it to him just yet. He didn't do badly at all in his debut.

not a good idea. the kid does have conditions to be a new football star. but they will kill him (sport speaking, hope not the other way) by putting so much pressure on his shoulders. how many times you see a kid with conditions that by 20 he has 5 knee operations, regular dates at the psychoanalyst, a wife, 3 kids, a divorce.... unfortunately i see it more and more often. and all because of the money, it´s just disgusting! :nonono:
