Explain something to me...

I can't explain it, but the same thing happened one year after the Lakers won the title and there were some rowdy celebrations on Figueroa

Sadly this is far too common an occurrence for teams these days, and hell, some cities don't even need to win the championship to riot (i.e. Raider fans, or is that their general way to behave ).

i remember being in Tijuana the night mexico advanced into the WC semi's (or was it quarter-finals?) in '98. talk about rowdy... it made the Figueroa tiff look like a 6 year old's birthday party. what fun!
