No, not Hoddle and Waddle and their inimitable Diamond Shites twaddle, but the growing band of non-league footballers who have famous musical names.

Welling United have Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford playing for them.... Havant & Waterlooville have James Taylor Worcester City have Mark Owen Cinderford Town have Jason Donovan

any more out there that you can think of ?

It's my weekend hobby...actually Welling United was my local (non league) club where I grew up.

Don't know about any non-league 'pop stars' but don't Burnley have both a Paul Weller and a Paul Cook playing for them? That's half way to a punk football supergroup!
