It's been getting some high numbers at imdb.com and metacritic.com but I thought it was a little underwhelming.
A clutch of real quality scenes strung together by weaker intervening material and some occasional *gasp* lame dialogue. And as for the saccharine finale...

The death scenes were pretty anticlimactic, and it was not nearly as funny and over-the-top as the first one. David Carradine really made the movie for me, personally. It made me remember why I used to watch Kung Fu when I was a kid. I liked the movie, but not nearly as much as the first half.
I'm going to go see it tonight. I've heard some good things about it so far like the scene where Uma's character reveals her name.

Thought KB1 was good,KB2 was never gonna live up to the cliffhanger part one set up,but hey it aint as anti climatic as Godfather III or Phantom Menace.
still waiting for the first one to come through on my netflix queue, so have to wait on the second one.
can't believe no one's mentioned the Fu Man Chu "master" with the crazy white beard stroking...freaking hilarious!!
I thought it was different than the first one...could have had a bit more action but overall pretty good...

I just came back from the movie, and I have to say the funniest part is where Uma is walking to the diner place while dirt is flying off her like she was Pigpen from Peanuts.
Kill Bill 2 was FANTASTIC! The first one was merely an excuse for gallons of blood and bad jokes. This one had so much more plot development and characterization. You actually feel for Bill at points, then realize why Uma wants to put her Hanzo sword through his throat.
And the Elle Driver/Bride fight sequence was a classic 
Tarantino is a genius, not cuz he utilizes old movie ideas (or cliches), but it's the way he uses them. Overall, I loved it.

I'm with Aleph, this one had much more depth & actually had characterisation. superb.
there are tons of references to hk films in it too
the crash zoom on pai lai (which means white beard i think) was classic chopsocky style, & i liked the use of the 4:3 aspect ratio at one point (not going to give it away so will just say it's before the pai lai scene)
