He hit a pensioner, who died in hospital. He fooked off from the scene just long enough to make sure the alcohol had left his system. May get quite a while of being unavailable for selection.

Megson's an ex-Stoke manager and Worthington's an ex-Stoke player: as ever, the Midas touch in reverse. Really pleased for both of them, though - they're a rare exception in that they're two clubs who I have absolutely no animosity towards, and who've made it without going down the Birmingham/Wolves/Middlesborough throw-as-much-money-at-it as-possible route.
