Happening soon.

First sign--I heard the Anti-Christ on the radio this morning talking to Art Bell. The fucker is back.

Second sign--Later today a radio show was talking about the 'Rapture'.

Prepare for the Second Coming of Christ! Or stock up on food, ammo and water.

That's funny. I helped a guy run for State Senate back in 2000 who was a regular on Art Bell's show. He's an expert on escatology (end-times stuff), and written some books on the subject.

Third sign: the success of The Darkness :D But you know what, I disliked them a lot, but lately I've been feeling A LOT guilty because... yes, I have to admit it, I quite like their pompous shit, those horrible guitar riffs have a perverse charm... please help me, they're the devil and they're gonna take my soul (and what was left of the credibility of my taste in music)

The Darkness are Satan's spawn, but my girlfriend quite likes them. :uhoh:

I bet the final sign of the end of the world will be when Bush gets re-elected. :D

Oh God no, that will be the end of the world. Tristan, you and me need somewhere to hold out. I recommend New Zealand, what do you think?

Here is what the Christians forget. In order for Christ to return the temple must be rebuilt. Fortunately, depending on your point of view, there now is a mosque on top of the ruins of the temple. Unlikely the Isrealis will be able to bulldoze the mosque down and rebuild the temple.

can't they have a metaphorical temple then?

Pretty sure it needs to be rebuilt. But then again, The Book of Rev is one weird ass book. Lucas and Speilberg should film it. First, who the hell was John?? Second, nobody gave shit about it until Protestant freaks started reading it centuries, a millenimun later.

I tend to agree with Marx and Engels in that the Book of Rev was a political compromise that Constantine made with early Christians when the Bible was organized. The anti-Christ was the Roman emperor who destroyed the Temple in the first place. Lots of anger at Rome.
