I saw it at stores and nearly cried when I looked at the emptiness of my wallet.

Some way somehow I'll be getting it! Even if I have to download a dvd rip or it.

My check for the past week's work: $39.40 (after gas and a sandwich from Arbies, $20.00 )

That's why I said "next week", I should be getting some more funds then (little hard to justify bumming $50 off the abuelos or madre for a DVD set)

It's on sale for 45 bucks too at Tower and I have 40 dollars in the bank

I was thinking of using my Books-A Million Card to try and get the National Lampoon Big Book of Love and 1964 Yearbook sometime over the summer, but the KITH are next week...unless I get shortchanged by union dues. Damn Bagboy Union Local 105....always whining about "less hours" and "more time for smokes". Some of us don't kill our lungs, alright! Jeez, how'd I ever get stuck with them.....

It's not Saved By the Bell

It's a skit comedy show from five Canadian people. The show was produced by Lorne Michaels (the same guy who has produced SNL for ages). One of the actors went onto SNL after KITH went off the air (Mark McKinney). David Foley was a great character on the show Newsradio. Scott Thompson is a hilarious fellow, and is the gay one. The other two guys I really know nothing about.

I don't think Saved was cutting edge satire...then again, it always seemed "convenient" that they always upset Mr. Belding. Come to think of it, it was actually a very realisitic take on the sorry state of American education in those times. You had the cool students who always got ahead on looks and not merit, while the geeks were repulsive to women....damn, talk about "reality TV" :(

Kevin McDonald and Bruce McCulloch(sic), both of whom have seen better days (like back when the show was still on)

Actually, McDonald's something of a character actor, and Bruce is a director. (I just prefer Foley over all, for starring in the single greatest sitcom to not have a weepy send-off and hours of coverage like a certain other NBC monstrosity I could name)

I suppose that needs to be considered, but I think the real star of the show was Kyle Maclachlan. I haven't been able to watch him in anything since without wating for him to bitch-slap Elizabeth Berkeley

I hate Best Buy. Is it just in California, or are the people who work at Best Buy the stupidest people you've ever met in your life.

Definitely not the swiftest fish in the stream, that's for sure, it just bugs me when I buy one thing there (i.e. bought 5 11 there before it came out in the US), and the freakin' guy at the door has to double check the receipt before I can leave.
