How did the concert go last night then Uncle Liam? and did you bump into Ms Blair?

I got yer text about a soundcheck, couldnae make it out....were you drunk;)

Have they reverted back to the Joy Divisionesque sound or are they still playing Definitely Maybe numbers?:D

Twas a bit boring if one is honest. There was no NOOL meet up either.

One of them was wearing a Joy Divison t-shirt though. But the general consensus amongst my lot is that it startedgood but really tailed off towards the end. I think the main problem was that the gap between the support band BRMC was nearly an hour. That made some people really annoyed.

About half the people there loved it, about half the people didnt. Thats the best way to describe it.

OK, here's a short review:

Went with my sister (she hates them but nobody else would go with me and I couldn't waste the other ticket). First support band - don't know who they were, sorry - weren't bad but the second lot were awful. As was the wait between them and BRMC - three quarters of an hour! The main attraction finally came on at 11 and it was, for me at least, pure bliss from there on in. The boys did good! :D

Biggest bummer of the night: having to leave two songs before the end to get a lift home. Liam and I didn't get to meet up, either (he did try looking for me, though). I was actually quite surprised when he told me he didn't enjoy himself - it was the night of the year for me and I don't think anything could possibly top it.

Don't know if even that could top it but I reckon it'd come pretty damn close, at least!

The Parlour is extremley crap Belfast Pub

First band were a local band, second band were from Finland.

I didnt enjoy it was i was knackered. Also, they got into my bad books by coming all and saying "I want to apoligise for the american government"

After spending all day writing an essay on american foreign policy in afghanistan, and the war on terror, the thing i want to hear about is sodding politics.
