and it's worth it: watched the first five eps this afternoon, probably gonna try and fit a few more in this evening.

I am, after all, the guy with the good attitude towards menstruation! :evil4:

Is the skit w/ Kevin McDonald in a gorilla costume in Season 1?

Yep, the one where he starts off all mournful about the death rate of mountain gorillas, then suddenly becomes enthusiastic about it. :thumb:

My faves so far: "Are Extraterrestrials Dull" (Foley's parts in that remind me of Python), "Citizen Kane", and "Sketch Comedy"

New career ambition: start a comedy troupe...before I'm thirty...or dead, whichever comes first

Citizen Kane  Kevin McDonald stabbing Dave Foley for mixing up Psycho and Citizen Kane

Come to Southern CA; the people here seriously need lessons in comedy. Never ever go to an improv comedy show in a southern CA college .

Fantastic stuff :thumb:

Some of the stuff works, some of it doesn't, but it's probably ten times better than anything currently on SNL

Speaking of which, Jimmy Fallon is leaving SNL after this season. Apparently he'll be joining Ellen Cleghorne, Brad Hall, and Garrett Morris as a question on "Celebrity Jeopardy"'s Saturday Night Live Flameouts category :evil4:

After Will Ferrell left, there was no reason to attempt watching SNL anymore.

True dat...

It's just been on way too damn long, Lorne Michaels is rich enough, just let it die already. The moment it became an "institution" of TV comedy, it died horribly. Thansk for giving us Phil Hartman, John Belushi (but not Jim), Dan Akroyd, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and (sigh, but yes) Adam Sandler...now fuck off!

Is that quote from Aqua Teen Hunger Force by chance?

Very good, very good!....a nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat! :thumb:

Caught that episode last night (trying to bring Shake back via the witch doctor) laughed my ass off.

Also, on one of the "Family Guy" eps recently, Stewie did a take-off of Shatner's "Rocket man" with the three Shatners-in-tuxs cheesy Seventies video

 I watched the same episode last night. My first Aqua Teen episode.

Finally got it, eh? In the words of a few merry men from the other side of the pond....."and there was much rejoicing..............................................yeah!!!"

That reminds me.... Anyone seen Guy Maddin's new film "The Saddest Music in the World"? Looks great! I mention it since it stars Mark McKinney from KITH...so you know I'll be laughing at it.

I attended a few meetings of an "improv troupe" trying to start up down at USC...never did get a set "performance" in front of anyone but ourselves. :(

I'd much rather try and do a sketch comedy thing onstage, I've seen so much bad improving that I'm sorta soured on it.

I'm game for a cock if you are...:evil4:

:topic: ...I hate Yahoo Personals. I finally got a response to a free "ice-breaker" I sent to one of a few girls there, but in order to respond I *sigh* have to sign up for $20 a month in order to e-mail her back....so I re-edited my email with my Tri-County Tech email ID :evil4: and hopefully it'll sneak under the radar of the uber-Nazis who run "Yahoo personals"...:thumb:
