Good call Shug, anything by HMHB is worth a look - always loved "I went from the Andes to the Indies in my undies"! Sadly disproves my theory that I'm the only wit to emerge from the Wirral mind... My uncle knows the singer Nigel, I have to meet the man someday; foregoing appearances on The Tube 'cause it clashed with Tranmere Rovers' home games - brilliant.

Also quite enjoyed Section 25's "Never mind the Sex Pistols - Here's the bollocks".

I saw an X-ray of a Girl Passing Gas---The Butthole Surfers

On the album this title is not written, rather, a stick figure drawing of it is used.

Great song BTW

Steady on Shug , one cannot say GAY on the boards now , it upsets the PC sensibilities of a few folk , I'd hate for you to be accused of being homophobic . Incidentaly if you were accused of being homophobic , then if your accuser was using the latin stem HOMO , you would have an irrational fear of the whole human race , having met you only once I know this aint so. However if they were using the Greek stem HOMOS , then one would have a fear people like oneself eg a one eyed brunette would fear another one eyed brunnette , hence you'd be scared of another SHUGLET , having only met you once, this may or may not be the case , probably depends on the ANTI-SHUG's ability to get a round in and share his bifters .

Gotta watch this PC shit Shug , they mess with the Greek and the Latin as well as your heed .

I was once at this anti war demo in shannon (Irish US airforce base) and the socialist party grey men were up on the back of a truck harping on about the (is it dogma or theory?)link between capital and war and imperialism (for ages, the speeches weve heard a million times before) and on and on and selling papers and telling us there is 50000 there , when there was 5000, and then these boys from the CAZ (cork autonomous zone) wheel up a shopping trolly infront of the truck, hook it up to a discman, and start blasting out "smack my bitch up". a classic. :)
