This has never been done, is it?

Oh well, for me I really enjoy the games like Civilization 2 and Age of Empire, I spent numerous hours in those games until I got bored.

I bought myself a PS2 only to be able to play to Final Fantasy X, I bought myself Final Fantasy X2 last week, it's addictive as well... though those games are mostly straightforward, it's more like a movie...

I was a Civ 2 freak as well, and I still play Civ 3. My favorite games are the Madden series for PS2 as well as the FIFA games.

I love the phantasy star series back on the sega master system and Genesis.

I really like final fantasy X these days.

But for action games, I love Street fighter 2. Spent so much money on that back in high school

Metal Gear Solid 2 or Tiger Woods Golf on PS2. But can you really ever get sick of Tekken Tag Tournament?

ARCADE Defender and Ms. Pac Man Nintendo Golf (multiplayer beerfest) and Desert Commander PlayStation Medal of Honor PC Fighter Aces (MMPL WWII flight game/sim)

After I got the pc I never had a reason to get a PS2 but I am encouraging my kids into getting an X-box.

The Sonic games (which I still love now), the first two Virtua Fighter games and Streets of Rage. The amount of time I wasted on all those is unreal! I'm hoping to get a PS2 soon, too.

I finally got over Project Gotham Racing 2 after playing obsessively for months. Now they've gone and made 6 more vehicles and a new city (Paris) available. Here I go again.

My Xbox Live tag is Andy28 if anyone else is playing.

Uridium should definitely be reproduced for today's consoles. Obviously they'd give it a full 3D/surround sound facelift, but it would be great to have an exact replica of the original thrown onto the disc aswell. (I doubt it would take up much room on a DVD!) I'd shell out the €50-odd for that alone.

Used to play this constantly on the mega drive, there was a cheat that gave you a 'super bike' with unlimited turbos, some of the crashes were mental.

Best arcade was Pang (cos i could finish it :) )

Socom 2 US Navy Seals. I never stop playing. It is so much fun. Online is the geatest. I love shooting people. I got 6 more games since then and I have not played them yet.

Soul Blade or Soul Calibor was my favorite before Socom.

My biggest disapointment was the new Resident Evil online game. Way to hard and you cant talk to people online how stupid is that. And you are supose to run away from the zombies??? Who the hell wants to do that. I want to kill the dam things!

Road Rash! I forgot all about that one! That was pretty cool too. Memories, memories!

I reckon some of the old games we've been talking about here should be brought back for today's consoles. What ones would you lot pick?

civilization 2 & 3 both had me up 'til 5 a.m. until my eyes were bleeding. VERY good games--extremely thorough and well thought out. actually, i fancy a 5-hour quick one right now....(pardon the double entendre)

other than that, probably rayman 2, although a few of the levels irritated the crap out of me when i couldn't finish them within a few tries. the line between reality and fiction became seriously blurred with that one.

i always love zelda, as well!

usually either persia or rome. i like my civilizations to be commercial and scientific.

I like Persia because of those Immortals, but I usually go with a civ that starts out with a scout, or I go with France who is Commercial and Industrious.

One game I wasted lots and lots of hours on is X-Com: UFO Enemy Unknown... that was a good game!!

Problem is, can't play anymore, DOS games based on bios clock have trouble with today's technology...

Another game i like is Syberia (for PC only i think), fantastic artwork and a good storyline and no violence whatsoever, very refreshing.
