Just been informed that I have to fly to the States on June 13th, returning June 17th. Upshot, I will be in the air when we play France and Switzerland. Thanks a lot.

Get someone to record them and then have a 'Likely Lads' type scenario where you try and avoid anyone telling you the result before you watch them?
well...I'm sure that here in the states, he won't have a problem with people not telling him the scores...as 9 out of 10 people probably wouldn't have a fooking scooby what Euro 2004 is!!!

Yeah, why not. Sod putting the phone next to the TV, you could do the commentary. Be warned though, any use of words such as "soccer" or "made a score" and I'll be round to do some 'surgery' on the other knee...

fox sportsworld are showing some of the matches live, and i'm assuming they'll show the others (including england v. france) on time delay, won't they?
I haven't found anything saying they will show the England-France match...I'm starting to fear that I will have to go to a bar to catch that one...or pay 20 bucks to see it...
