Thesaurus is a list of synonyms , there is no synonym for thesaurus , it was a trick question in English class. Lexicon is a language users knowledge of words , as in a mental lexicon , alternatively a written lexicon would be a dictionary, an alphabetical list of words and meanings . So no I wasn't being serious although ,I am now ; just for a minute being a little serious . :p
