No offence, but I was told off for this before...
Fuck the rules, the whole point of advertising it in the main forum was because of the short deadline and to increase the chances of me shifting it. If that doesn't work as far as the system is concerned, bollocks to the system. This would have been a sticky thread if it had been a US citizen offering.....

Sadly I'm elsewhere but caught 'em with Johnny G and the Hibster on Tuesday, then Pompey Gary, the Hibster again and Brett Lambe last night, amongst others.
Two entirely different gigs though, which is something I wish New Order could learn from, even in terms of style as well as content. Running order changed both nights, and the first night they just did song-song-song bang-bang-bang one after the other like they had time limits or something, then last night they actually paused between each track, and attempted a bit of audience banter. Played the final two tracks with all the house lights up too..
Suffering today though - another lock-in in Brixton and missed the last tube home. Doh!
Karen was never coming to this one, though she will if I can't shift it. I bought two at the time, expecting that my mate Tony would be coming, but he's in Austria this week.

She never liked 'em first time around, and my version of Tame hasn't exactly endeared them to her !
Last night's Brixton show gets a 5-star review in today's "Guardian": apparently 75% of punters "are visibly too young to remember them first time round". Gulp!!
I thought there were quite a few young'uns there. Also a fair few our generation, revisiting their yoot. Good mix.
Saw some fella at the bar in the Academy, wearing a black Technique T-shirt, he looked the wrong side of 40 mind.

Never saw him in the gig. He fuct off from the pub early and we didn't mozey on down till the last possible moment to increase drinking time...

It's Wednesday's show they've reviewed in the Guardian. Strange review: obviously had to give copy to their editor so watched the first five songs and fuct off! Majority of the audience are thirty-somethings, but still a lot more youngsters than you get at New Order I guess? And we had Brett along with us last night, and he's just 19!

Aye, last night were a top 'un - 3 encores, blimey! Was chuffed to find that Black can still deliver the songs with the same punch as he could way back when... Kim Deal was lookin' alright for her age too.
Props to Al for sortin' me with the ticket and providing a place to crash come the end of the night - much appreciated fella. Didn't envy you having to get up for work this morning... Mind you, the 3 hour return coach journey was no great shakes either - felt a tad rough to say the least. Still, on getting back, I did the sensible thing and met up with a mate for a cheeky Foster's in one of Mr Wetherspoon's fine establishments - bollocks to hangovers.
