I think that it's a terrible thing to say about anyone, regardless of whether or not. you approve of Bush's presidential policies.
Morrissey has no right to say such a thing, last I remember he wasn't from our great country, therefore he should keep his opinions to himself.
Moz has the right to say that. Freedom of Speech--should be a UNIVERSAL RIGHT.
However, it was shitty, small minded, nontolerant and hateful thing to say.

I know he lives in LA, but he still shouldnt go shooting his mouth off like that. My girlfriend Is English, & she'd never dream of saying a dreadful thing like that, especially when it involves America, a country we both love to death.

It just seems like the "cool" thing to do lately is criticise all things American, esp. its politics & politicians. I don't agree with much of what George W. Bush has done during his term in office, but, hell, whenever anyone gets in power in any country, the hopes of the people are never truly fulfilled.
It might sound selfish, but people should be grateful for the good things they have in their own lives, without being too concerned with other peoples, & thinking they could run their country better than the guy actually doing it.

Really, if you think that George Bush is doing a better job of running the coumtry than any of his critics could, perhaps you could give some concrete examples of something that he hasn't bollixed up...
But the Democrats have a golden opportunity to take back the White House and they decide to give it to Kerry. All I hear from Kerry is Bush bashing. No ideas other than taxes and entitlements and more spending. And that even has stopped because he seems to be on vacation or dead or off the planet. Bush is weathering the worst days of his administration and Kerry is not attempting one iota to capitalize on it. When Bush's people were called in front of the Congressional investigation Kerry should have been red in the face and in pain from speaking too much. But he skipped this.
So is he just waiting for October to kick it into drive or waiting for Woodward to write a new book so Kerry can have new campaign ideas? At least Dean was visible.

Look, I don't pretend to be an expert on politics; my point, though clumsily made I know, was that I just wish people would stop being so negative about everything all the time. I'm not a Bush supporter at all, but I just feel that, no matter who gets into power, he (or she!) is going to piss off a lot of people no matter what they say or do...
