Otto's boys did it again  . They managed not to leave with empty hands against Spain (who played really well btw, and i can admit now that not only we did our best, but we were a bit lucky as well). Hope we both make it to the next round :thumb: .

with Russia now out of competition i think you guys have big chances to qualify and in first position! you just don´t have to be TOO self confident though. keep the humility! :thumb:

hats off to the Greek :thumb:

I can't see Portugal getting past Spain, so your hopes of Spain and Greece both going through will probably come true. However, don't count your chickens just yet ...

Have to say I have been hugely impressed with Greece for about two years now, very organised, very disciplined, good skill, good movement, incredible workrate. Big fan of Vryzas up front, England would love a big man like that who can stay on his feet and is mobile. Also very impressed with Dellas at the back, looks a colossus. Interesting to see Giannokopoulos as well, he's shown some flashes for Bolton, but he is a clever player.

Do u know whats funny? Both Vryzas and Dellas left Greece with the label of "useless". Their teams (PAOK and AEK) just let them go, happy that they get rid of them :evil4: . So if anyone's asking why it took ages for Greece to finally present a descent national football team, thats your answer: That the greek teams (and their players) are very usually being managed by the most unlikely ppl  .

I think Greece are pretty much through to the quarter finals - barring a mathematical miracle!
