Hadn't heard the news till I checked this thread just now, so I thought it was about that as well.
Hey Jeff, did you get my last email, and the possibility that a local convienience store, run by a couple of Brits, are looking into stocking the stuff? Told 'em that I found a bar in Seattle that had it, so they said they'd look into it. :) I'll keep ya posted on the results.
well...if you need some info...you can e-mail Labatt's...they are the North American distributor...
I asked them if it was available in Texas, and the reply was...not at this time...
so maybe there is hope!!!
Thought it would be about beer also, so I was preparing a "Fuck that shit! Pabst Blue Ribbon!!" comeback. Anyway, I read about his passing...away...into death. Too bad. It was coming though. Great actor. ![]()

Not to take away from Brando, but Kell's in Portland just started stocking it.
RIP Brando.

Hell yeah, Labatt's! I had a Labatt's jacket about a decade ago.

Possibility I might catch the Euro 2004 final tomorrow at Kells, depending on what some of the family want to do, and avoid the PPV services of the cable company. I'd rather watch the match with a passionate crowd any time.
Yes, indeed, RIP Marlon, thanks for the memories, except for the Isle Of Dr. Moreau.
Too bad McDonald's made him an offer he couldn't refuse...![]()
(shame on me)
Seriously, though, he was probably the greatest actor of the film era...and he was in the largest number of terrible films of any such legend. The most vivid memory I have of him is actually reading his autobiography on the way to a family friend's funeral about a decade ago, not so much any of his films.
RIP Marlon ![]()

It'll be buried with him.

Of course he was just acting. But to research the role, he spent two weeks in a coffin underground and another week in a crematorium. And he's really Andy Kaufman.

He's not dead, he's just taking on the role of Cl. Sanders in "Triumph of the Beak:The Kentucky Fried Chicken Story" ![]()
