I signed this fat tosser from our little neighbours Port Vale in 2001, I rescued him from a life of eating oatcakes and playing for a team that will soon go out of business. Being based in Burslem for a while had made Dave feel bad about himself, so to perk him up, I made him club captain, I mean, the captain of Crewe Alexandra, what more does a dead beat from the Wirral want? Daves bones were very brittle, so for the three years he was here he was usually found on his back in the treatment room. Because of Dave's liking for only playing either in August or April I offered him a new contract for just a year, I mean the club did'nt mind paying his wages and medical bills, I just thought that Dave would see that we did'nt dare take a massive risk with his piss poor record with injurys. So after 3 years of being looked after buy the club Dave decided to show his loyalty by signing for the biggest load of red and white stripped shite that ever existed, and for all you Geordies, it ain't Sunderland. Now back to the pub.

I wondered when you'd get round to mentioning this. Kris Commons done US good and proper as well - hope he breaks his leg in the first game of the season....
I knew I would get one response out of ya!! Now I am sober and thinking a bit clearer the whole Brammer sitution is a weird one, should I blame the club for only offering him a 1 year contract seeing as the money he will be on at Stoke his actually less than what we were paying him (but more than what we wanted to pay him for a new deal), should I ease up on my bitterness towards Brammer, at the end of the day he left for the security of two years football as opposed to one, should I be happy that he's gone, fairly injury prone, reduced our wage bill and we have cover for him, or am I pissed off at the club he choose to go to, a bit of everything I reckon!

What's the score with that? I don't get why you would want to own a football stadium with sitting tennants. Would you be paying rent to the new owner?

Well, that's true; but we WILL be sharing our ground with the bloody Vale within the next 5 years. I guarantee it.

Spimply put,
we have a set of fuckwits who are no more than asset strippers running the club. They have no interest in the future of Leeds Utd, and their only concern is how much they can swell their big fat wallets. They are certainly doing what they intended. They become rich, the club is fucked, job done for them
Same thing happened to Brighton at the end of the nineties. The (then) board of directors even secretly changed the club constitution so that they could profit directly from the sale of the ground!
http://www.clubsincrisis.com gives some advice on the sort of action Leeds fans should be taking to ensure the same doesn't happen there.
I've got over losing him to the scum anyway, can't wait to go there ashtray of a stadium in November and give him hell, that's if the old crocks fit!
