Just a little question: how exactly do I change the settings on the computer screen so that everything's not super-sized? 
I ask because someone (my little brother, perhaps) changed the screen from everything being "normal-sized" (where all the things on a site fit into one screen), to "big" (where it's almost a "pan-and-scan" set-up where you have to go over to see the rest of the screen). I need to get it back to normal, if only for my own sanity.

I've tried the "view/text size", I think it has more to do with the screen set-up than the text (for example, all the toolbar options are basically the size of a quarter, when they normally would be smaller). The text is normal, it's just the screen is spread out and information is spread as well or bunched together in long columns.
In other words, annoying 
Is it just the FONT that is too big...just click on DESKTOP...RIGHT CLICK,PROPERTIES,FONT SIZE...THEN like me N O R M A L. Well then?:D

No, the words onscreen are normal-sized, it's basically as if the screen was re-done for someone who has trouble seeing a normal-sized layout of the screen. Like I said, I have to move the bottom cursor over to the right to see the rest of the screen.
try right clicking on desk top, click on properties, then the settings tab, there is then a sliding scale that controls screen area.
*mental note: If I want piss Trevs out, I shall mess his computer. He's illiterate in Windows.*

I tried that, but when I clicked on "properties", it didn't have any settings option
Right click om desk top....i have just recreated this problem if i think about it.The rightclick will bring up .....properties,settings,ADVANCED...then change this DPI setting to 96DPI...it will be at 120DPI. Should work i am now going to the pub....let us know in 2 mins if this WORKS.......:D
Which windows do you have? Obviously, your screen resolution has been changed, you need to change it back to the proper size..
So go in the control panel, then the display properties, then click on the "Settings" tab, then you WILL see the screen resolution "slider".
What is considered "normal" is
14" screen: 640x480 15" screen: 800x600 17" screen: 1024x768
If this is not the problem, then it's the font in Internet Explorer maybe? then go to "View > Text Size" in IE's menu and put it back to "Normal"......
