Says YOU!!!
A couple of my friends and their friends have a fantasy hockey league that I have dominated the past 3 seasons...but it's just as good there is a lockout...they weren't going to let me play this year...
and while we're at it...what is it with the NOOL league and me...I'm in 3 other leagues, and I'm in first in two of them, and second in the other...
maybe you guys are better than the others???

As long as Anne insists on playing Eli Manning just because they went to the same University, I like my chances of passing her!!!!:p
this leauge is tough especially with 14 teams, talent levels get watered down a bit. i agree with wenorder, nic, you impressed a bunch, you did better than some people who grew up loving football. anne's team has a final tough match-up with wenorders. i dont think shadowplay has a chance against limegreen and jeff should win next week. my predictions with records and points are:
6. ryoos 8-5
7. celtic football club 7-6
8. shadow play 7-6
- ghirl power 7-6
Well, I would be better if I would watch the games and know the news and injuries faster...
There are so many trades on sunday, when I get the status update the monday, it's mostly too late, all reserve QBs are gone 
I would have won 2 more games without stupid mistakes I've done... and I believe I started the league with 2 empty spots without knowing it !
So Jeff managed to squeeze into the playoff! And Anne got knocked off!
Some interesting match ups in our first Week of our playoffs.
WenOrders Vs Limegreen Tangerines --- A rematch of a game that I won by less than one point! I may not be so lucky this time :)
Celtic Football Club vs The Shellshock---- CFC starts the season 0-5. Most people already wrote him off as one of the basement dwellers of the league. Jeff manages to orchestrate a major comeback to become the #7 Seed! CFC Faces a dominate newcomer to the PCLFL. The Shellshock's only loses are from the other elite teams of the league!
Ryooso Vs. The Special K Dawgs ----- Plagued by a bad draft and some bad roster moves, My wife, owner of the Ryoosos almost given up on the season. But Determined to stick with it knowing that her chances of success in the league this year was slim, she still manages to made it to the playoffs. She Faces Kamar's K-Dawgs! After an average season last year, The K-dawgs (formerly the cure) Dominates this year earning the #1 seed! Congrats Kamar. The Ryoosos beat the heavily favorite K-Dawgs earlier this season. Can she do it again? Another note, this first week of the playoffs is also a "battle of the couples" Me versus Lindsey (kamar gf) and Kamar vs my wife :)
Shadowplay Vs. Grukhas---- Last year's King of the league makes it back to the playoffs this year. Even though he was not as dominate as he was last year, The Grukhas remains on of the PCLFL elite! League Newcomer Shadowplay could have been one of this years top teams, if it wasn't for some tough close loses.
And for the rest who did not make it to the playoffs.
Ghirl Power---- Started off strong. Thought to be one of the elite. But quickly fell. Kinda like the Minnesota Vikings.
Tritons-- Tristan's team. He manages to go through the whole season with out making ANY roster moves or managements. Still ended the season with a 5-8. Hung in the top 8 for a while.
Jerrybears ---- A newcomer. One of kamar's or shadowplays friends. Dunno if he was actually trying this year.
Alouettes ---- Spotnick's team. Did pretty well for someone not familiar with american football. He lost some close ones! I hope you join us again next year
Chicago Punk Monkeys ---- Another newcomer. I heard He was actually trying hard to win this year. Only Manage to win 2 games :(
Section 25 ---- Michael McDermott's team. Where did you go? Gave up early this year. :(
Well, I did my best, but I'm a bit sorry there isn't a consolation tournament as well to determine the best of the rest :(
So it's already over...
I had my 2nd highest score, but couldn't manage to beat Jeff...
Congrats to Tristan, who didn't even do a single change all season!

well it was a fun year. sadly, I will not be able to move on in the playoffs thanks to ryoos's ass kicking of my team. This is actually depressing. however, it was not an upset, she has a really good team and I had chris brown and his 2 fumbles and chris chandlers 6 interceptions fucking it up for me. But, no excuses, she beat me, thats all that matters. congratulations.
and the wenorders beat limegreen tangerines, thus completing the sweep for the "wen" family. congrats!!!! (you bastards :P)
some thoughts on my team:
biggest surprise: Mushin Muhammad 68 receptions 1060 yards and 11 tds
biggest downer: amani toomer 46 receptions 678 yards and zero tds
sleeper: jason witten 67 receptions 787 yards and 5 tds
Well, I got the Steelers' starting QB, he got injured at the FIRST DAMNED GAME and was totally unable to get his spot back due to the brillant play of their rookie QB.
So it could have been worst 
Wow! I didn't think i'd beat Limegreens again. But at least I won more than a fraction of a point this time! Well Me and Soyoung won the battle of the couples this year,I can't wait for a rematch next year! I hope lindsey plays again :).
This week's match up:
The Battle of the Significant Other. The WenOrders Vs. The Ryoosos Yes, now I have to face my wife again. I usually okay if she beats me. I rather have that than what I have to deal with if I win. But this is the playoffs.....
The Battle of the Titans The Grukhas vs. The Shellshock What can I say? it's going to be an interesting match between the 2 of the strongest teams in the league. The Grukhas may be in trouble this week because of his QB situation...
And the consolation games. Winners of these games will go on to play for 5th place.
The Battle of the Significant Other. Part 2 The Special K Dawgs vs. The Limegreen Tangerines Kamar had such a good season this year. But couldn't finish the job. As commissioner of the league, I award The Special K Dawgs the First Annual "Grukhas" Award. The Grukhas set the standard last year. :P.
Kamar faces his lovely Gf lindsey, who had a pretty good year for a first year player.
The Other Two The Shellshock had a great game last week, but unfortunately he faces a slightly stronger Grukhas team. Tough luck :(. Jeff, manage to slip into the playoffs at the last minute lost miserbly to The Shellshock. 109 point difference. Ouch!

hey....my playoffs were the second half of the season...trying to get back to the top half of the standings after my wonderful start...
got knocked out in one of my other leagues as well...
but still going strong in two...I've got to quit playing so many leagues...I can't even remember who to root for in some of these games on TV!!! :p
Well, it's ME versus The Shellshock this weekend for the championship. :P
Man, Kamar when from #1 to fighting for #7!!!
I dunno my chances. Shellshock whooped my butt the first time around. We'll see....

As you know Fantasy Football is 10% skill and 90% luck. I thought Kamar had the best team(look at point totals), but all it takes are a couple of bad games to tank your season. It was great playing with a bunch of people who share an interest in New Order. Good luck to you WenOrder, and may the best New Order fan win! 
Well, as expected. I got my ass whooped by the shellshock. Even if I started the right QB this past sunday. I still would have lost. :P

you desrved the championship :) I'm sad FF is over and regular football is almost over, but it's never to early to start planning for next years teams. see you guys in the fantasy realm sometime next late august/early september :)
Thanks to all for allowing me the privalege to play in this league. There were a few teams (Limegreen,Special K and Gurkas)that kicked my but during the regular season and I feel had more formible line ups that could really pile up the points, however anything can and will happen in the playoffs.
Special thanks to WenOrder for running the league. I didn't know the champion recieved a leaugue trophy, that's top notch! 
Everyone in the PC&L league were great fun and I can't wait to play again next year!

If the Browns had someone who could judge talent we would be in the Super Bowl with all the number 1 and 2 picks they compiled the last 5 years. Maybe I should start following The Bears.
