1 all at half-time...hey...Celtic finally scores a goal in Seattle!!! :clap:

I didn't think Beattie's ball was gonna make it in...but I lost a beer and a fan blade off the ceiling fan when it did!!!

Now somebody tell them to put Hartson in the match..

then it went to pot in the second...as Brother ShugzV has mentioned to me...you can see the difference a load of funding makes...

all things considered, still wasn't a bad match...at least they scored a couple for Greenie and BLT...

A fairly good performance from Celtic - they looked fucked after an hour though! The young guns did great - Wallace and Beattie in particular, our defence were back to the 80's with that performance - but what about Big Bobo's run in the first half? CLASS.

Considering the difference in money and the squads we both have I'm fairly pleased, Big Bad John didnae do too much unfortunately, lets hope St Martin is on the verge of buying a few players, and if yer reading St Martin.....Robbie Keane would be good

Glad to see that my American friends who attended the match got to see a Celtic goal at last.....please tell me you's got me a programme!!! Loads of happy memories watching the stadium from last year, and I'm glad Brother Jeff tuned in to it. Shame about the ceiling.....remember that the next time Bro:D

yes...I shall have to remember not to hoist a full beer into the air while the fan is running...the office here at the apartments were not all that amused by the story...and Anne was not at all too fond of her new perfume!!! :clap:

I just posted something, and damn if it didn't disappear into cyberspace. :confused2:

Anyhoo, made it back in one piece, forgot to leave the fans on, so now my house is quite hot.

Decent effort by the Bhoys, Chelsea was a bit much on the day, and the first Celtic goal was in the end we were sitting in last year.

Saw a lot of kids after ward running round in Chelsea blue shirts, quite probably a lot of 'em had the red Man U shirts last year.

Before the match, there was a banner out front for Chelsea supporters to sign in blue permanent marker. I walked up to it, wearing the hoops, and surveyed the scene. Nobody reallly paid attention to me, so I bent down, grabbed a pen, and signed it "Go Spurs!-Green-2004!!" :rofl: Of course, I took photographic evidence, which will be on its way to the parties who might be interested in it, such as Brian, Shug, Jeff, and Don. Yes Don, I also wore a Spurs shirt inside, met another fellow fan who sat behind me wearing the same shirt, and laughed at all of the kids running around in Chelsea gear.

High hopes for Spurs this season with a new manager, and some new signings, lets see if they can finally push for Europe this season! :D
