What was the game like overall? Heard it was a bit niggly at times. They do say that a United-Celtic match is seldom "friendly" don't they? ;)
ManU looked most uninspired for the most part...but they were playing a weakened squad...so I won't read too much into that...I was very surprised to see that ManU actually outshot Celtic 17-10...because it didn't seem like the Red Devils were pressing the matter very often...even with them outshooting Celtic...Howard had 4 saves, whereas Magnus only had 2...so I guess Celtic had more quality in their shots...Celtic looked much better tonight than they did against either Chelsea or Liverpool...and ManU looked about the same as they did against Bayern Munich...so it was a good night for Celtic...not so good for the Manky lads!!!

Maybe these below-par performances might be a good omen for United. They looked great in their pre-season games last summer but the following season they did a good impression of Sexton's team at times. (That translates as 'mediocre, at best' for anyone not familiar with the name).
Here's hoping the fine tuning will be sorted in the next fortnight.
You lot get more excited about the pre-season friendlies than the actual league competitions. Then again, if you support Celtic, the pre-season is bound to be more exciting than the Scottish Pointless League...
