Couldn't make it down for the Everton match tonight...had a job interview today, and have another one tomorrow...but this is crazy...they should come to Dallas...we could outdo this one!!!

Everton downs Pachuca in Copa de TejasAssociated PressEverton of the English Premier League wore down Pachuca of the Mexican Premier League in the second half and went on to a 5-2 victory in the first game of the Copa de Tejas -- the Texas Cup -- tonight. The game was tied 2-2 at halftime in front of a crowd of 8,364 that was swallowed up by 70,000-seat Reliant Stadium. Kevin Campbell took a pass from midfielder Thomas Graveson for a header in the 57th minute for the go-ahead goal. Kevin Kilbane's header in the 63rd minute gave Everton a 4-2 lead and the English team got its final goal from forward Nick Chadwick in the 83rd minute. Everton scored in the game's third minute when James McFadden scored on a pass from Lee Carsley. Everton went up 2-0 in the 12th minute on a penalty kick by Graveson. The penalty was on Ivan Hurtado for using his hand to stop a kick in close by Everton's Leon Osman. Pachuca's Juan Carlos Cacho took a pass in the front of the goal and scored in the 22nd minute to make it 2-1 and Octavio Valdez split two defenders and scored from 15 yards out to tie it in the 44th minute. The second game of the Copa de Tajas will be Sunday when Everton faces Club America.
