Mmmm, sarnies! :p

Freshly cooked roast beef and cranberry sauce! although some might say i should like prawn sandwiches...

Turkey and mayo an hour or so after Thanksgiving dinner.

Either pork cold cuts (some good ham, salami, etc.) with bbq sauce on some whole wheat bread, or I like a cucumber sandwich.

peanut butter, dill pickle, and mayonnaise. yum.

Cheese (not melted) with salad cream for me. God, this thread's making me hungry!

Argh! Time to eat what I loved for. Tuna and mayo with melted cheese. Would have green onions in it, but we're out.

Probably an eggplant parmesean sandwich, or anything with humus, but no meat, on it.

My girlfriend has got me into vegetarian food over the years and much to my surprise, it ain't half bad. and i've just gone form "member with substance" to "guilty partner", think i'll play "Oh, The Guilt" by Nirvana to celebrate.

Grilled eggplant ain't half bad, and a ratatouille is a great use for eggplant.

Some things vegetarian are pretty good, like humus, but I'm not too fond of "wheat meat," especially cold. If it's cooked, it's rather good, but as fake cold cuts, or with soy cheese, it's bland.

If you guys knew what real (French) cheese is, you wouldn't bother about what to put in your sandwich, believe me! Oh well, yes, you would, because choosing between a thousand is not easy.

Ciabatta bread with roast beef, parmigiano and ruccola is also very good.

Now I'm hungry. :\ohwell:

cant beat a good old sausage muffin. Has to be with sauce though...

I didn't want the Union Jack flag on my profile as it is usually associatedwith the forces of darkness (rangers), so i decided to go for Ireland, nicer colors!:)

Well, several of these are very tempting...the melted cheese, possibly the brie and grape (never had it), or the cheese and pickle (never had that either). The other suggestions also sound tempting, including the brunette in front, blonde in back (again, never had that), and the eggplant parmesan (had that a few days ago-- ).

However, my all-time favorite has to be the curry tofu Vietnamese sandwich I became addicted to years ago.

Brie & Grape is a type of sandwich I heard Snotty Ollies buy a lot of from Marks & Spencer (a lower middle-class department store-cum-supermarket in Britain)

Cheese & Pickle however, is a nasty concotion that British oiks & riff-raff scoff a lot of. The most popular make of pickle for the sarnie is Branstons, which, the last time I looked, had everything it it from cauliflower to cat shit.

I share your sentiments about Rangers for the most part anyway.

Meals in sandwhiches takes some beating. My personal favourites being pizza and lasagne. :)

um yeah right.............what is food, can you drink it:p

I also like some warm sandwiches from a sandwich maker. Take some buttered bread, pepperoni, a dab of tomato sauce, and some mozzarella, and then put it into the sandwich press and after a couple minutes you have pizza hot pockets, only much tastier.
