Hey folks!

Has anyone seen the VH1 show, "Bands Reunited"?? Awesome show, but many c-list bands from the 80's like New Kids on the Block or Haircut100...regardless, who would you like to see reunited??

I would be pulling for The Smiths...but I know that would never happen. HOw about The Primitives?? Cool band.

Just got done watching the episode of that with the Beat, I really liked their albums.

The Fall, with both Hanleys, Scanlon, and Burns.

Neubauten, with Marc Chung on bass and Mufti on everything.

Magazine.

Talking Heads.

Rain Parade (forget Mazzy Star, David).

Did "Pop will eat itself" do a song that was half rap and half pop?? I remember it had a lyric with "Optimus Prime" or some transformer character referenced...I am curious now...I really liked that song.

There is a rumour going around that the Smiths may get together, we shall see.

Yes, they did ("We dig Optimus Prime/And not Galvatron/The leader of the pack/And da-do-ron-ron!").

Genius.

Ah, Pop Will Eat Itself, that takes me back. I remember them using a sample from the film "Betty Blue".

I'd like to see the Depeche Mode lineup from the mid to late eighties and early nineties back together.

How about the original Depeche Mode lineup?

Dave Gahan Andrew Fletcher Martin Gore Vincent Clark

Or how about Yazoo!!!

Alison Moyet and Vincent Clarke...that would be really cool to hear them perform some of their songs like "Too Pieces", Situation, Do Go, etc...That would rock!!!

I thought the whole point of Bands Reunited was actual groups that split up for good getting back together, not "original line-ups" of bands that still exist today. Therefore, bands still recording like Depeche Mode & The Fall shouldn't be in contention, even if you think certain line-ups they had in the past deserve to make a comeback.

Besides, when you talk about great groups who ought to re-form, how could you neglect to mention Take That & The Spice Girls?...
