No you weren't dreaming - she will be on it next week hopefully. I visit Ro's forum most days - a bit pissed aff she wasnae on tonight cos I've been tuning in since the show started. People reading this will think I'm a right sad cunt
The only bit I think I cought was "p*ss of Rowetta" this was on X Factor Xtra that was said by Simon Cowell. I may have just imagining it though. I thought nothing of at first all I saw was a black women who with the name of Rowetta, then later a better picture of her appeared so I made the connected.
I doubt any of the judges have even heared of the Happy Mondays I bet they don't even know who New Order are.
It should be on TV anyway as she is still semi famous.

They didn't mention the Happy Mondays but on Xtra Factor they showed more of her and played "Step On" as the backing track so they must have known. However they probably thought most the audience would have no idea who there Happy Mondays were.
My facourite line was "my dad is from Nigeria and my mum is Jewish" very random!:)
She deserves to get to the next round on the entertainment factor alone. I knew the wife of the Happy Mondays first manager (Phill Saxe) and they were quite wild which is why he had to pack it in. I think this was before Rowetta joined though.

FFS Ian credit the cunts with some intelligence! Of course they knew who HappyMondays were, and who Rowetta is. Just because they weren't trying to rim her just because she'd been part of a band who used to support New Order and who had half a film made about them.....
Your all a bit behind the times, 
The tabloids had a field day with this story a while back -apparently other contestants were unhappy that she had already had a shot at fame yet was still chosen to be on the show.
