Hi guys, I'm home from my travels around the north of Italy! I came home late last night. Had a v nice time indeed. It was a holiday of two halves: beach stuff in the first week in a resort called Caorle and other stuff (including rain! ) in Desenzano at Lake Garda in the second week. Usually when we go on hols we're running ourselves ragged going on loads of trips but this year we only went on two: the Venetian islands in the first week and the Dolomites in the second (just on Thursday, in fact!). Couldn't fault either of the hotels we stayed in; they were both lovely and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Did more shopping there in the two weeks than I do at home in a year, too; God knows how I managed to get it all home with me! (She says as all the men on the board roll their eyes! )

Basically, a great time was had by all. It's horrible having to go back to the old routine, though. Oh well, what can you do? Still, it's good to be back here again with you lot.

Only slightly jealous!!! Never been to Italy, though have been told I'm missing out. Sounds like you had a good time.

Not a lot's changed here, JSB has admitted he is Spike, Rocket Mick has admitted he is Frank Black and Fred Elliott, and there is still no new album!

If someone can find the thread where I admitted I am Spike, please do so as even I can't remember such an occasion. My only other NOOL alter-ego was that boring assclown Jesse Haberman, thank God he's gone...

Italy's great, but don't like Venice, it stinks of shit... literally. I'm off to Amsterdam next month for 3 nights with my brother, he needs a bit of cheering up, the auld scrote. Then only a couple of weeks after that I move across the pond. No rest for the wicked...

Is America ready for JSB?

Be ready to have fingerprints taken and a lot of pictures.. apparently, we're still (Canadians) the only people who can go in the US without being in their database!!
