The haze is the pot smoke travelling northward from Humboldt University

Is that why we can't see nice air pictures from Jamaica?

It's The Kids Are Alright, and it's not even on Who's Next.;)

I'm really hopin' I get to see it blow, though. They say last time it blew, Portland was covered in volcanic ash.

It wasn't as quite as bad south of the volcano as it was for the areas east, such as Yakima, as the following chart shows, I can recall being thankful that the prevailing winds were from the west. We got a very light coating of ash, and I could see the smoke column from here, over 120 miles away.

Debate over, thanks for coming :thumb:

Well , A quick one... , is good , and the bit of film in TKAA pisses on the Stones . But .... it aint volcano music , certainly not volcano's goin bang music , nah , I'll stick with Baba O'reilly as the Who tune for the eruption , See me , Feel me for the aftermath and when the dust has settled ... I can see for miles , in praise of the new view and aspect .

Wee Shuglet tells me he has been monitoring Arthurs Seat in Edingburgh , but I feel he should have kept it to himself ,though perhaps I shouldne judge theses Celts to harshly :(

Richard , I've dimmed the lights in me house ,lit a White Owl cigar and switched on me Mathmos Lava lamp , NOOL empathy :thumb: I'll also switch the fluorescent light on and off intermittently at some point

Also Mrs garymac recommends the Dyson Animal , a quality bagless floor cleaner ; for the inevitable bit of cleaning you'll be doing after bits of the former Mt St Helens fly past your home .

If it's volcanoes goin' bang, though, then Bargain certainly has that explosive quality to it, don't you think?

Anyway, all this Who's Next talk got me to pull out the CD last night and give it a proper listen at 2 AM. Mind you, my best friend, with whom I am hopelessly in l:ignore:ve , had just tearfully informed me hours earlier that her boyfriend had broken up with her. So Bargain seemed an even more appropriate soundtrack...

Tell Wee Shuglet to be careful, and any of you in the vicinity of Silbury Hill, you might want to take cover as well. As mountain bits go flyin' past me, Garymac, I'll be grateful for your empathetic support in front of the lava lamp. :thumb:
