A friend mentioned something to me about some "new?" band called The Killers. Supposively sounds like a cross between Bowie, The Cars and Morrisey. Anybody heard of them? And if so, what do you think?

They took their name off New Order's Crystal video...
"Somebody Told Me" is a great tune.
However, it's much too early to start comparing to people such as Bowie.. give them at least two or three albums!
I liked 'Somebody Told Me' at first but the novelty has since worn off. I prefer 'Mr. Brightside'.

Are you sure of that? There's a famous short story by Ernest Hemingway with the same name.
