Jude Law to star in "Closer"

It's nothing to do with Ian Curtis but an interesting coincidence nonetheless.

Jude Law is a brilliant actor! Okay, he missed a chance to be a Ian Curtis, but that would be way too ridicilous (imagine him singing "Dead Souls":)).

I don't know if he's that brilliant, and maybe it is merely circumstance, but GATTAGA was horrible!!!!

His perf in Enemy At The Gates was good though...

Yes. I also liked him in Talented Mr Ripley and Wilde and The Silence of Crocodiles.

I think Dale Winton would be a good Ian Curtis

I've seen this play some years ago... the script sucks.

Our kid was talking to Jude Law in Venice a couple of weeks ago (he was there because Sienna Miller is filming there at the moment), and he was never approached to be Ian Curtis.
