How much do you spend on music in a week/month/year?
Ive been monitoring it lately cos i seem to be running out of space for CDs! I`ve been spending about £20 a week for a good 12 years,so have amassed quite a collection.
I didn`t really give it any thought tell my missus commented its about £1,000 A YEAR.
I roughly worked out how much I'd spent on all me records and CD's, it came to a figure somewhere near £5,000
Started buying records from the age of 13!
I think I purchased 3 cds so far this year.
New order--Back to Mine the Cure--The Cure Community And I don't remember if there are any others.
However, I have burned about 100 bootlegs of shows this year.
Put something decent out and I will buy it.
Back when I took my DJing very seriously and was gigging 6 nights a week I was averaging about a £200 a week easy. Used to make bi-monthly journeys down to London and blow double that in a day. Twelve grand a year for 6 years would be a fair estimate.
Bear in mind that I was also trousering a fat wad of tax free cash every week and stll living with my ma and da!
Over the years i have probably spent £10,000 on music but due to my age that ain't that musch per year.But it is surprising how LITTLE i play a lot of this stuff.Better off just having a couple of singles and a record deck and playing them to death.But the COLLECTOR in me stopped me doing that for quite awhile but now i am CURED!

Yup. I have a 12". Was a remix. Don't remember the title but I do remember it had an amazing plastic type cover with (I think) a picture of a peacock on the inside which you could see through the front. Could possibly have been clear vinyl as well.
Not as much as I used to, that's for sure; one of these days I'm gonna add all of 'em up. For the last couple of years, maybe 100 dollars a month, on average, definitely more if I purchase any box sets.
