I have just been compiling a dvd for a Nooler of the side project videos when I realised what utter Bollocks they are with B-Movie style videos to promote them, absolute banal crap.Fancy being associated with Neil Tennant.

I refuse to pay my council tax, if there are no live gigs soon.

Come on New Order play live and have a an alcoholic drink you buggers.

Morning Shug. Only his Parkas sang.

I've had a look on Sky a few times at the re-runs but they only seem to show the later series. Perhaps Caroline is in complete denial that the first few series exist.

 When we were in Glasgow, Muffy said to Hooky "what the fuck were you doing on the Merton show? That was pure shite!" or words very very similar to that. Hooky wasnae sure whether Muffy was taking the piss or not:lol:

Doths cap towards Disgusted of Derby. I will happily receive anything that comes my way (if Hibster were about - he'd be sure to have jumped on that one....ooops, pun of a pun)

Comical value on these pages.....you'd better believe it!

In "For You" Bernard and Johnny drive a real tank throughout some little English village. Anyway, that's funny.

The early Electronic videos aren't bad, although they aren't up to the standards of most New Order videos. Disappointed is rather good, in my opinion, and so is GAWI, along with the live TOTP performance of it. But, some like "Get the message" are kind of boring, although "Feel Every Beat" is kind of amusing, or at least apt for the song. Revenge videos are rather bizarre, but not in a NO sense, and the videos I've seen from Monaco and the Other Two (on this site, mostly) aren't anything special. True, none really hold a candle to NO videos, like TPK, World, Here to Stay, TBTHOG, True Faith, etc., but they're not bad - and there are a ton of good groups who have lame videos. Actually, with Electronic, I would've liked to see Gangster, Tighten Up, or Patience of a Saint made a single, and thus given a video, but that didn't happen.

Videos are just the product of a marketing department, I would rather the music do the talking, and especially by way of live gig.

New Order ( God Bless em ), are now just living on past glories and the legendary live gigs.

I remember I was watching TV and they had "Disappointed" playing. My mama asked, is it the Pet Shop Boys? I said, no, it's Electronic.

Yes, now I teach my wife how to distinguish New Order and the Pet Shop Boys. So this is permanent... generation after generation, the selected will give people that knowledge and wisdom. I predict, in 2085 another lad would ask a question about NO & PSB.
