Wembley and NEC, horrible venues, warm beer in plastic glasses and rock hard plastic seats.

Can't say i paid much attention to 'em. They were just an inconvenience as i was getting impatient waiting for NO to take the stage. Don't think they were too well received though.
oh yeah. they were here in Buenos Aires playing last Friday on a masive festival. they were fooking brilliant. pure rock and roll with electronic base. Bobby has a great presence on stage. and they came with My Bloody Valentine´s guitarrist Kevin Shields. i don´t know if he only came here or if he´s playing regulary with PS, but his guitar was good news over here.
i must say that this festival, although bizarre, was a great experience. i managed to see Morrissey, Blondie, PJ Harvey, Pet Shop Boys, and other great artists. but there was nothing like Primal Scream and The Mars Volta. TMV came with John Frusciante as guest and they rocked big time. a must see, especially for the musicians. a nice refreshing moment to my ears tired of musical mediocrity.
Last saw them in 1988, we canned them offstage after Ivy Ivy Ivy, the 4th song. Total rubbish. Next track on the setlist was something called Loaded.

Reminds me of my post about PS last March after having seeing them play live in Athens 
. Im glad that u all agree with my ethusiasm after that gig - especially glad that Ale and the ppl in Buenos Aires don't call me names after (strongly) advising them not to miss their performance :D .
Well as i said then, i can repeat now: Maybe "Rock the shack" wasnt such a bad idea

in fact i remembered Rock The Shack while they were performing ShootSpeedKillLight. same fooking guitar riff. ;)
