Aye - season's best to all. great Christmas so far, the missus got me the LIVE AID DVD Boxset, just watched the first disc, brings back some mad memories. It starts off with the BBC News feature with Michael Beurk in 1984 about the famine in Ethiopia and shows the horrific scenes, makes you feel blessed about being born in a country like this. I was a wean of 10 that day, but I remember it vividly, I had just finished football training and got home just before it all started with Status Quo, the rest of the day was spent playing football in our back garden and nipping in and out the house to watch the music. A great, great day in musical history, and it's brilliant being able to re-live that day.

Hopefully in the next year the G-8 Summit will banish the ludicrous debt problem to Africa and give those poor people a chance.
