Anybody else watching the new version of this? It's actually quite entertaining...a lot darker than the original...

We're 10-12 episodes in over here & I have to admit, I love the show. I was very sceptical at first when I heard they were doing things like changing the gender of characters etc. But it's worked really well. (And the new Boomer... 
)
As for Six, if only the voices in my head looked like her.

I'm frigging PISSED OFF!!!
but yeah...Starbuck as a girl....Boomer going from a black man to an Asian female (I think I love Grace Park)...well, I've got no problem with either of those!!!
I watched about 10 minutes of the new mini-series that, from what I heard, was preceding the launch of the new series, and quite frankly I didn,t get hooked. I thought the visual effects were a huge disappointment. But then again, I didn't watch long enough to make a final judgement.

Season one finished here a couple of weeks ago so it's my turn to be pissed off. On the plus side, a second season has been confirmed. 
And this may interest you, Jeff: Grace Park has done a photoshoot for the March issue of Maxim. 
I don't know when it's out, may even be now. Will get to the newsagent first thing tomorrow & investigate.
Just finished the mini series, which sceened over the weekend. I like it. I only have vague memories of the orignal mainly because I wasn't allowed to watch much of it.
In Oz the new series will then commence on Feb 22.
Sci-Fi Channel here just plays the first five episodes over, and over, and over between re-airings of "Species III".
Not 100% sure, but I think the series has now finished in the US. Did you all stick with it to the end? IMO, the cliff-hanger to end all cliff-hangers. Just recently watched the entire mini-series prequel... brilliant. A second series has been confirmed, apparently it was touch & go for a while.

have not seen the last hour yet...it was on Friday night, and I was at a wedding...it's on my DVR back in Austin...so I reckon I'll probably have a watch Monday morning...

And that was a shocking end to the first series...didn't see Boomer doing that to Commander Adama...now I'm pissed that I have to wait until July to find out what the result is...
