Twas a lovely way to spend the lunch hour today, watching that match. Quite sure that Donovan is a happy guy....![]()
Cracking game it was, seems the hype from the FA about calming things down got thrown out in the tunnel. I thought Keane was gonnae lamp Paddy V in the tunnel, the post match interview gave us the answer:
Q What happened in the tunnel before the game? Keane: Viera at 6ft 4 decided to pick on Gary Neville whom he thought was an easy target, so I jumped in and said to pick on someone a bit bigger.

Looked like the game would spiral out of control with as many fouls as minutes played for a good while. Utd thoroughly deserved to win, looked like several Arsenal stars wanted to get some revenge for the last game at Old Trafford. Still, a very enjoyable game, I had text messages from DoN who was a happy chappie, and The Rocket phoned me after the match (already very drunk) Hope you's enjoyed it as much as I did![]()
I have BANNED myself from going out. What a bloody kerfuffle.
Mind you i did eat 3/4 's of my KEBAB.Had to leave the first PUB due to a CLASH of personalties.Ended up in HARRY's BAR.
Good night to go out drinking again.I won at POOL 7-6 having put the black ball down in 4 of my defeats.
Cheers SHUGZV.Just got new phone but i can't read instructions YET!![]()
Very proud that the top three clubs in England are from the South!

The North Will Rise Again? Will it fcuk!
Superbly vicious game of football.
Both sides struggled defensively but Man Utd were worthy winners.
I am afraid Mr Wengers side are reaching a cross-roads.
Footnote..
Again Thierry Henry went missing...On the biggest stages he looks for the shadows.

His taste in music is equally as bad as his taste in cars. Did everyone see him patronising Ronaldo with a slap on the back of the head and a South Park Police Chief "walk away nothing to see here" moment. Arrogant fucker. Pires was at it an all, they wouldn't try it with one of the harder players though would they? Pair of Jessies!

Well it pretty much secures a Champions League place next season Hank. I doubt Liverpool will be in the top four come the end of season. Tranmere will most likely be promoted to The Championship,Everton are having a great season and will probably finish forth. Leaving your lot the worst performing team on Merseyside.
And to top it all, only a fool would belive Gerrard will be at Anfield next season.

Like your CL qualification was in doubt. Call me a fool but I reckon he'll stay and that we'll get 4th. Everton were a stronger side and in the top 4, this time 2 years ago. I think that year they released a DVD entitled The Magnficent Seventh.

It doesn't really matter, it's not like they aren't managing without him

It doesn't really matter, it's not like they aren't managing without him What i was meaning is that although he said he won't come to OLD TRAFFORD,nor would LIVERPOOL sell him to UNITED,he would make a great addition to their TEAM.
Wow! More than 20 messages in a 1-day-thread!!!!! Two little Spaniards in Arsenal I think, isn't it?
I'm not so much keen on football right now.
I used to be a Real Madrid fan but I got bored of watching so many rich players that don't want to work any hard.

We have 5 Spanish players (Josemi. Nunez, Garcia, Alonso and Morienes) and a manager who's a Mardigolian (Benitez).

Tranmere won't be going up. Godknowshow they're 3rd in our division. They got an early/lucky lead after 5mins at our place on Saturday and tried to kill the game so badly that their keeper got booked for time-wasting after just half an hour. Surely unheard of in the modern game.
As for the Prem, would someone please beat Chelski? I've got monies on Pompey to do the title with a 41 point headstart, and they're already 34 off the pace.
