Anyone seen any good flicks lately? It's the post-award season slump. Slim pickins. Discuss.
I finally caught Almodovar's "Bad Education" and it blew my pants off. MUCH better than his last few, which were already very good. Didn't someone on here mention seeing it a while back? Also been getting into Peter Greenaway's stuff a lot lately--fantastic films! Oh, and of course the exploitation stuff like Ken Russell's Lair of the White Worm and H.G. Lewis's Blood Feast.
Man On Fire is the best film i`ve seen in the past 12 months. I know its an action film,but its got a decent story. Not a fan of arthouse films,give me a regular popcorn movie anyday.
An absolute must see for Crime film fans is [orange]Layer Cake[/orange] equally as good as either Lock,Stock or Snatch.
