My old password doesn't work, so I've re registered and received via email a temporary one. I went in my profile and changed it to my original password and it still doesn't work. Do we need two passwords? One for the forums and the main site?

you're supposed to keep yourpasswords a secret!

To be able to post one must subscribe and use a password.  Not a big deal BUT one is forced to use a password that the forum generatees for you.  Mine is something like VACT^#(.  Not easy to memorize.  Sure I could never log off and not have to deal with this.  But I like to clean my pc every now and then, delete cookies and temp files ect thus losing the cookie controled pass.   I know, save it somewhere.  Still inconvenient.
