British Broadcasting: Coupling

I'm a petty American, and I can't stand most British TV sitcoms. More precisely, I can't understand their humor, and if I do I still don't laugh.

However, I've grown addicted to "Coupling." Critics may say that its a British rip-off of "Friends"; although I am a fan of that show, "Coupling" is much wittier... more "British."

Does anyone know if and when there will be a fifth season of Coupling? Theres rumors that it's been cancelled, but I've also heard they'd begin production this summer.

Any know the details?

I seem to remember reading something about it being cancelled. I know the fit blonde woman has been doing other things on tv lately.

I personally never found it that funny so i cant say it'll be missed by myself.

I like British sitcoms. Coupling was ok. I didn't think it was that great.

Fair enough, I never understood how Mad TV or That 70s Show Could ever be found as humorous either.

I didn't realize how harsh and biased (and contradictory!) my previous message was. Let me make amends. I meant to refer to British comedies where I don't catch the humor. I remember renting "The Office" was I was completely lost. I never realy took the opportunity to watch Brit dramas.

Has anyone seen the American version of "Coupling" ? What an embarrassment. Just shows how we have short attention spans and are more into physical comedy. A sitcom based on witty dialogue does not fare well here.
