Juliette Binoche wrote: What months do Hedgehogs hibenate in?

November to March but can be earlier depending on temperature. They have to wake every few weeks to move position and circulate their blood.Otherwise they would die.Due to GLOBAL WARMING these months are changing somewhat.I have rescued several of these creatures in the past.Sometimes i have kept them for a few days in doors and if they have not improved SHIRLEY has taken them to the vets or a santuary.Saddest time was when we looked after a tiny one for a few days but it died after we took it to a specialist carer.Remember NOt to use SLUG PELLETS in your garden because they are a KILLER to the hedgehogs that feed on the slugs. And please drive carefully in the countryside. I don't think Sonic the Hedgehog was around in 1983, unless his name was "Pong."
