Never seen a second of shows like American Idol, Survivor, Apprentice, Fear Factor, etc. Can't remember the names of all those "reality?" shows that air, all I know is that I quickly became immune to their "charms"
The Office (US) isn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, it certainly took some doing do find a toady more annoying than Gareth, and Dwight fills the bill (too bad I know people like him).
I'd hear good things about Arrested Development, but I have no idea what day or time it's on, so I've never seen that one either.
Top show for me is Deadwood, where nothing is quite as it seems. A show that can make me laugh, think and cringe in the same episode (Swearengen passing the kidney stone certainly got my attention
) ; the archaic yet flowery speech patterns also invite close and repeated viewings and listens.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: what can I say? trying to figure our what Meatwad is saying is half the fun, and Shake has to go out and prove himself as the living embodiment of the phrase "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread".
Fox Football Friday: lively show, nice to see Steve(chelsea fan) and Nick (LFC) needling each other, last week's recap of Liverpool v. Chelsea was priceless e.g. when this trivia question came up before the tv break Where is the Champions League final being held, and who isn't there?, Steve muttered something about going into the control room and busting some heads.
The rest of my tv time is taken up by shows on History, Times/ Discovery, Nat'l Geographic, IFC, and repeats of Seinfeld, Simpsons, Chappelle's Show, South Park.
Oh yeah, a big thumbs down to Comedy Central these days, I know they're hurting for Chappelle's show to come back, but every time I tune in, it's yet another repeat of a MadTV show. Change the name of the friggin' channel already.
